2015 NorCal Solar Annual Membership Meeting

  • Quick Mount PV 2700 Mitchell Dr., Building 2 Walnut Creek, CA (map)

Please join us at our annual membership meeting as we look back on the year's activities in 2015 and announce the results of the current election for the Norcal Solar Board of Directors. It's also a great opportunity to meet the new and existing Board Members, as well as a chance to network with other NorCal Solar members.

We are very excited to announce Jim Augustyn as our keynote speaker at this year’s annual meeting! As the author of The Solar Cat Book and The Return of the Solar Cat Book, Jim has helped people understand solar through hisobservations of cats using solar energy along with his delightfully funny comments. He is also a consultant and researcher in the solar field. The focus of his work is solar radiation measurement, but he has also designed and built solar thermal and electric systems, assisted in the energy design of buildings, and development of large scale solar power installations over a career stretching back to the days of the first U.S. energy crisis. Augustyn & Company's clients include national laboratories, foreign governments, utilities, research laboratories, domestic electric utilities, solar power plant developers, state and municipal governments, as well as the occasional regular person. Of course his most prestigious work is as Humanity's Primary Emmisary to the International Solar Cat Society.Jim lives in Berkeley California with his wife, Elizabeth, and three cats.
