Jonathan Kevles of Renew Financial will speak on “The Effect on Home Buyers and Sellers of PV Financing Products, Including PACE Funding.”
Jonathan Kevles Biography:
Jonathan Kevles is the Vice President for Government Affairs and Market Development at Renew Financial. Renew Financial’s Founder and CEO Cisco DeVries invented the PACE concept and created the first PACE program. The firm now runs the CaliforniaFIRST Commercial and Residential PACE programs. Jonathan has previously worked with the Sierra Club and the Rocky Mountain Instutute, among others, and was Deputy Mayor for Economic Development in Los Angeles.
Bruce Mast from Build It Green will speak on "Bridging the Worlds of Rooftop Solar and Real Estate" — focusing on the PV information that the real estate industry finds useful and how best to get it to them.
Bruce Mast Biography:
Bruce Mast has more than 24 years of experience in the green building and energy efficiency industries, and he has been with Build It Green (BIG) since its inception in 2005. As Deputy Executive Director, Bruce leads business development activities and plays a key role in setting BIG’s strategic direction and translating ideas into practical program designs. Bruce’s many accomplishments at BIG include his current pioneering work to “green” the real estate MLS and accelerate homebuyer demand for healthy and efficient homes. Bruce also helped design and launch the GreenPoint Rated certification system, as well as PG&E’s Home Upgrade rebate program.
