Pete teaches and facilitates courses on a variety of subjects, including solar electric (PV) systems, solar water heating systems, integrating and evaluating energy efficiency and renewables, smart grid, energy storage and others.

Brad Heavner, Policy Director, California Solar Energy Industries Association (CALSEIA) 

Brad has over sixteen years of clean energy advocacy experience with statewide and national organizations. He was the architect of the nation’s strictest state policy on existing coal-fired power plants, the Healthy Air Act, and he led the campaign for Maryland’s law modeled on California’s AB 32. Before joining CALSEIA’s staff in 2013 he was working to support the development of Sonoma Clean Power and other Community Choice Aggregation initiatives in California.

Melissa manages Luminalt’s Project Administration and Community Engagement efforts. She came to the company from Asian Neighborhood Design, a local jobs training non-profit.
