Publish the Solar Energy Resource Guide: presenting basics on technology, solar design, financing, permitting, resources, and much more. We are currently working on the 9th edition, to be released in July - find out more!

Engage and Inform the Public: hold workshops and seminars.

Connect People: link solar professionals with newcomers and solar job seekers.

Partner with Other Organizations: partner with progressive organizations promoting sustainability. Current partners include the Bay Area Climate Collaborative, Solar Sonoma County and Sustainable Communities.

Since 1975, NorCal Solar has advocated for the passive, building integrated, active PV and solar thermal industry inspiring tens of thousands of people to support and adopt solar energy technology.  Throughout its history, NorCal Solar has maintained its role as an information portal on all-things-solar for industry professionals, policymakers, advocacy gorups, the media, and the general public by serving as  a leading unbiased information clearinghouse.

NorCal Solar is the Northern California chapter of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), a national organization dedicated to advancing the user of solar and other renewable energy sources for the benefit of U.S. citizens and the global environment.
