Join us on Wednesday, October 24th for Solar Drinks at Vino Locale on the Santa Cruz Wharf. We will mingle over drinks with beautiful sunset, ocean views and hear from an exciting line up of speakers who are all experts in renewable energy. The speakers will present their ideas on the role of solar in fighting climate change followed by Q&A. We are also fortunate to have Carly Rixham, Executive Director of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), coming to tell us about an ASES project called Tiny Watts.


Schedule:

5 pm - 6 pm - Networking 

6 pm - 6:15 pm - Carly Rixham, Executive Director of the American Solar Energy Society ("ASES"), will present an overview of the ASES Tiny Watts project

6:15 pm - 7 pm - Panel: The Role of Solar Energy in Fighting Climate Change. Panelists will provide their views on the role of solar energy in fighting climate change followed by an interactive Q&A format.

Markus Beck, CTO of Siva Power
Scott Laskey, President of Sandbar Solar & Electric 

7 pm - 7:45 pm - Networking 

8 pm - Results of raffle announced

There will be a raffle to win a waterproof solar battery charger, gift certificate to Vino Locale and other prizes. 15% of all drink purchases will be donated to the American Solar Energy Society.
